Drop Spindle Class

Spinning is relaxing and meditative. Drop spindles take up little space, the tools are inexpensive and portable. In this class you will explore wool, its properties and how to spin it. This class will explore spinning wheels mechanics and how they work, learn about the vast world of wool fiber types and how they behave in your spinning, and you will be making your first 2-ply yarn. Wheels are available for loan. Minimum of 2 Students or class will be cancelled and your fee refunded.

What is the best preparation for worsted vs woolen spinning? Perhaps you purchased a braid of fiber years ago and the color does not excite you anymore, so how can you change it?
