Beginner Crochet Class

Crochet is a process of creating textiles by using a crochet hook to interlock loops of yarn, thread, or strands of other materials. The name is derived from the French term crochet, meaning 'small hook'. In this class we will learn how to make a foundation chain and the three most common crochet stitches. With this knowledge you can make scarves, pot holders, face cloths, throw pillow covers; basically anything with four sides. Fundamentals like counting stitches, keeping sides straight and even, and tips and tricks will be shared to help launch new crocheter in the hobby or revive the muscle memory for folks who've not picked up a hook in years.
