Stitch Sampler Scarf

In this class we will learn how to make a stitch sampler scarf. This project consists of eight very different stitches and you can incorporate blocks of single, half double, and double crochet stitches too. You don't have to use every stitch, but you can use any of them to make a wonderfully warm and textured statement scarf. The scarf is meant to be interesting and varied for the seasoned crocheter, while still giving beginners achievable stitches that build muscle memory, tension consistency, technique, and help them explore more challenging patterns in the near future. Any yarn and any hook is appropriate. Students will receive a written pattern and personal instruction.
PREREQUISITES: Able to make a foundation chain and make single crochet. Class attendees are expected to bring a crochet hook and yarn.
