Supported Spindle
Spinning on a supported spindle is relaxing and portable! Supported spindles are excellent for spinning fine yarns but not limited to it. We will learn the different types of supported spindles, techniques needed for keeping that spindle going, and making a beautiful yarn. I recommend some experience with drop spindle spinning, but this is not required. If you have your own supported spindle and bowl, please bring to class. I will have fiber and spindles/bowls for use during the workshop.
