Woolen Spinning

New spinners generally start out learning worsted spinning techniques. Perhaps you would like to expand your spinning skills? In this class you will learn how to spin woolen style including Traditional long draw, Point of Contact long draw, spinning from the cloud, spinning over the fold, and understand the characteristic of each method to help you determine spinning techniques for future projects. We will not be plying in this class, just learning the techniques for singles so you can ply at home. 

Experience: Must be able to spin a worsted single comfortably.

You need to bring: A spinning wheel in good working order, orifice hook, and a couple of bobbins, hand cards if you have them. Carders will be available during the class.
