New Haven Hat Class

Celebrate a tiny fishing village and harbor near the Edinburgh’s Firth of Forth coast with this gansey inspired hat. There is a simple but effective knit and purl patterning to create the design. The brim uses short rows for a minimalist approach to ear flaps. If ear flaps are not your thing, you could easily make a regular brim instead. The hat is finished with a 3-needle bind off from the inside, this will look like a bind off you would find on a ready to wear hat.
In this class you will learn: short rows, gansey patterns, 3-needle bind off.
