Around Every Corner - Intarsia Knitting Class

The Around the Corner shawl has easy to understand intarsia instructions, which makes this a great project to expand your skills. It is knit in garter stitch from the top down and is a great way to use up left overs or mini skeins.

In this class you will learn: intarsia knitting.

Skills needed: cast on, bind off, increase stitches.

Supplies needed:

32” - 40” circular knitting needles, US size 6
720 yards of fingering weight yarn

MC: 460 yards / 420 meters
CC1: 34 yards / 31 meters
CC2: 38 yards / 35 meters
CC3: 40 yards / 37 meters
CC4: 44 yards / 40 meters
CC5: 48 yards / 44 meters
CC6: 50 yards / 46 meters

3 to 5 yarn bobbins or clothespins
Stitch markers, tapestry needles, measuring tape

Homework: Please complete the initial section of the shawl so we can immediately begin the intarsia section in class.
