Tunisian Crochet
Tunisian crochet or Afghan crochet is a type of crochet that uses an elongated hook, often with a stopper on the handle end, called an Afghan hook. It is sometimes considered to be a mixture of crocheting and knitting. In this class we will learn how to make a foundation chain and the three most common Tunisian crochet stitches: Simple Stitch, Purl Stitch, and Knit Stitch. We'll discus the different types of hooks used in Tunisian crochet. With this knowledge you can make knit-like scarves, pot holders, or even start an Afghan! (We'll judge attendance/interest and see if it warrants more Tunisian Crochet Classes.)
