Finishing Techniques Part 1

Class will cover:

Weaving in ends.
Starting a new ball of yarn.
Blocking
Types of yarns – acrylics, cottons, wools
Grafting
Kitchener Stitch
Two needle bind off

Please bring to class:
The following knitted squares.
one 8-inch square in stockinette stitch with live stitches on holder or needle.
two 4-inch squares in stockinette stitch with live stitches on holders
Darning needle, double-point or circular needles from your knitted squares, scissors, contrasting yarn.
Bring a work in progress if you have one.

Skill Level:	Intermediate
