Nuno Felting

What is Nuno Felting?

This technique bonds loose fiber, usually wool, to a sheer fabric such as silk gauze or other wool fibers to create a variety of finished products. During the class you will learn the proper way to lay out the wool roving, incorporate other natural or synthetic fibers for embellishment or flair, and complete a project in just a couple of hours.

All classes provide the supplies needed to complete a project. Beginner classes are typically a lightweight scarf to learn the basics. Intermediate classes play around with different shapes, techniques and applications of nuno felting. No previous experience required for either level. However, the beginner class is strongly recommended first. Additional supplies are available for purchase at the class.
