Smiling Ewe Needle Felt Batts

This is core wool batt, hand processed and tested to be the most efficient for sculptural needle felting.
The wools used are blended and carded into batts, and the blends are tested with a single size 38t (triangle) felting needle to be sure that it felts quickly and firmly.
Various breeds are used, with each lot being slightly different, depending on wool breed availability. Every batt blend combines fine and short staple wools with shorter stable medium and/or coarser breeds to insure a mix that grabs the needle well, felts firmly, and requires a lower amount of stabbing to create core sculpted pieces.
